The range of our nursery arose out of the passion for the small, often difficult to cultivate, dwarfs in the high mountains. Jürgen was always attracted to plants that were considered difficult to propagate and slow-growing.
Now gardens are also subject to fashion and where a rock garden was mandatory years ago, today it is more of a flower meadow or a gravel bed. That is why we have said goodbye to the very special high alpine mountains and cultivate a variety of rock garden plants with a wide variety of properties. They should be vigorous, good for insects and be allowed to withstand extreme locations.
With a view of the hot summers and often a lack of rainfall, this range includes some wonderful species for the stone bed or the foreground of a perennial border. Other treasures in this range are better kept in a trough, where the plant lover can give them the necessary attention.
